    Antonio Sarpe is Brazilian, born in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
    During adolescence he became interested and practised sports, music, dance, theatre and body therapies.
    He came into contact with Biodanza in 1980, when he began attending a regular group.
    He graduated from the Biodanza School in Rio de Janeiro, completing the course in 1984.
